■Product Description Oil supply and return gears the same width as 1973-91 Big Twin genuine HD aluminum pumps. S&S pinion and oil pump drive shaft drive gears increase oil supply by 25% over stock in pre-1972 engines. The oil pressure relief passage is machined to alleviate pressure build-up above the valve, maintaining stable oil pressure. The oil pressure regulating bypass directs excess oil directly to the pump supply side, reducing the amount of oil returned to the tank and decreasing oil foaming and cavitation.
