■Product Description Oil supply gear and return gear are the same width as genuine HD aluminum pumps. S&S pinion and oil pump driveshaft drive gear increase oil supply by 25% over genuine parts in pre-1972 engines. The oil pressure relief passage is machined to alleviate pressure buildup at the top of the valve, maintaining stable oil pressure. The oil pressure regulating bypass directs excess oil directly to the pump supply side, reducing the amount of oil returned to the tank and decreasing oil foaming and cavitation. The standard pump cover allows for oil system flexibility with many oil feed and return options.
