■Product Description Oil supply gear and return side gear with the same width as genuine HD aluminum pumps. S&S pinion and oil pump drive shaft drive gear increase oil supply by 25% compared to genuine parts in pre-1972 engines. The oil pressure relief passage is machined to alleviate pressure buildup at the top of the valve, maintaining stable oil pressure. The oil pressure regulating bypass directs excess oil directly to the pump supply side, reducing the amount of oil returned to the tank and minimizing oil foaming and cavitation. The standard pump cover provides many passages for oil feed and return, allowing for oil system flexibility. This kit is primarily for scratch builds.
