If a lowering kit is installed while using the stock side stand, the side stand will be too long for the distance between the vehicle and the ground. This will cause the parked vehicle to lean more upright compared to its stock state.
A short side stand corrects this to an appropriate angle of lean.
We recommend installing it at the same time as a lowering kit to prevent unexpected falls when parking.
