If a lowering kit is installed with the stock sidestand, the sidestand will be too long for the distance between the vehicle and the ground, causing the vehicle to stand more upright than stock when parked.
A short sidestand corrects this to an appropriate lean angle.
We recommend installing it at the same time as a lowering kit to prevent unexpected falls when parked.
