If a lowering kit is installed while keeping the stock side stand, the side stand will be too long for the distance between the vehicle and the ground, causing the vehicle to stand more upright when parked compared to its stock state.
A short side stand corrects this to an appropriate lean angle.
We recommend installing it at the same time as a lowering kit to prevent unexpected falls when parking.
