■Product Description
The AMPS hole pattern, a standard for mounting GPS devices such as Garmin and TomTom, has four holes spaced approximately 30x38mm apart. RAM MOUNTS' AMPS hole base is a joint part necessary for attaching some products, such as tablet holders and base parts that do not include the ball section. It is highly versatile and can be used not only as a joint but also as a base part by screwing it down.
Mainly a ball joint for attaching to some mount parts that do not include the ball section.
The AMPS hole pattern, consisting of 4 holes on a 63.5mm diameter round plate, has a versatile hole pattern with hole centers spaced 38x30mm apart and diagonal holes spaced 48.5mm apart, making it widely compatible with RAM Mount tablet holders and similar products. By attaching a ball joint, you can combine it with other RAM Mount parts of the corresponding ball size to construct a mount freely at any desired location.
It can also be used as a base part by screwing it down separately.
