■Product Description
The AMPS hole pattern, a standard for mounting GPS devices such as Garmin and TomTom, has four holes arranged approximately 30x38mm apart. RAM MOUNTS' AMPS hole base is a joint part required for attaching some products, such as tablet holders and base parts that do not include a ball. It is highly versatile and can be used not only as a joint but also as a base part by screwing it in. It features a double ball design, expanding its range of uses.
This ball joint is primarily for attaching to some mount parts that do not include a ball.
The 63.5mm diameter round plate has seven holes, with the AMPS hole pattern consisting of four holes, where the centers of the four holes are 38x30mm apart, and the two diagonal holes are 48.5mm apart. This highly versatile hole pattern is widely compatible with RAM Mount tablet holders and similar products. By attaching a ball joint, you can combine it with other RAM Mount parts of the corresponding ball size to build a mount freely wherever you need it.
It can also be used as a base part by screwing it in separately.
With two balls, the expandability is enhanced when used as a ball joint or a base part.
