■Product Description
The AMPS hole pattern, a standard for mounting GPS devices such as Garmin and TomTom, features four holes spaced approximately 30x38mm apart. The RAM MOUNTS AMPS hole base is a joint part required for attaching certain products, such as tablet holders and other mounting parts, or base parts that do not include a ball component. It is highly versatile and can be used not only as a joint but also as a base part by screwing it down.
This ball joint is primarily for attaching to some mounting parts that do not include a ball component.
The 4-hole AMPS hole pattern is a versatile hole pattern with hole centers spaced 38x30mm apart and diagonal holes spaced 48.5mm apart, making it widely compatible with RAM MOUNTS tablet holders and similar products. By attaching a ball joint, you can combine it with other RAM MOUNTS parts of the corresponding ball size to build a mount freely at your desired location.
It can also be used as a base part by screwing it down separately.
