■Product Description
The AMPS hole pattern, a standard for mounting GPS devices such as Garmin and TomTom, has four holes spaced approximately 30 x 38mm apart. RAM MOUNTS' AMPS hole base is a joint part required for attaching some products, such as tablet holders and base parts that do not include a ball section. It is highly versatile and can be used not only as a joint but also as a base part by screw-fixing it. This double-ball design expands the range of uses.
Mainly a ball joint to be attached to some mounting parts that do not include a ball section.
The 63.5mm diameter round plate has seven holes, and the AMPS hole pattern, consisting of four of these holes, is a versatile hole pattern with the centers of the four holes spaced 38x30mm apart, and the two diagonal holes spaced 48.5mm apart. It is widely compatible with RAM Mounts tablet holders and similar items. By attaching a ball joint, you can combine it with other RAM Mounts parts of the corresponding ball size to construct a mount freely wherever you want.
It can also be used as a base part by screw-fixing it separately.
With two ball sections, the expandability as a ball joint and base part has been enhanced.
