■Product Description
The AMPS hole pattern, a standard for mounting GPS devices such as Garmin and TomTom, has four holes spaced approximately 30 x 38mm apart. RAM MOUNTS' AMPS hole base is a joint part necessary for attaching some products, such as tablet holders and base parts that do not include a ball. It is highly versatile and can be used as a joint or as a base part by screwing it down. Made of composite material, it is ideal for light use.
This ball joint is primarily for attaching to some mount parts that do not include a ball.
A 63.5mm diameter round plate has 7 holes, and the AMPS hole pattern formed by 4 of these holes is a versatile hole pattern with the centers of the 4 holes spaced 38x30mm apart, and the two diagonal holes spaced 48.5mm apart. It is widely compatible with RAM MOUNTS tablet holders and more. By attaching a ball joint, you can combine it with other RAM MOUNT parts of the corresponding ball size to freely construct a mount wherever you desire.
It can also be used as a base part by screwing it down separately.
