【PMC 14-9405 Airflow Insulator Guide Ring Z750-1000 '72-'80, 4-piece set, for Big Insulators, Carburetor】
A guide ring that fills the step between the intake port and the J-series big insulator when used together on Z-series vehicles up to '80.
Since the inner diameter of J-series insulators is approximately 6mm larger than Z-series, a step is created with the intake port. Gasoline contained in the air-fuel mixture can accumulate at this step, leading to poor idling and low-speed performance. Typically, the intake port would be ground down to match the diameter, but by installing a guide ring, you can eliminate this step without having to modify your valuable cylinder head.
Installation is an easy fit, simply by inserting it into the J-series insulator.
This is a 4-piece set for one vehicle.
