On both sides, two raised bubble shapes are arranged in staggered formation, and the large-diameter air intake evokes powerful suction. The openings, equipped with mesh nets, give a more aggressive impression, emphasizing the presence of the side view.
The main body of the side cover has been modified to evoke the Z1's "simple yet three-dimensional sculptural beauty" while simultaneously creating a glamorous and fluid form that seamlessly integrates with the volume of the air intake, transforming the silhouette from the tank to the tail cowl into a spartan image.
The front part, referred to as the intake section, is made of twill weave carbon fiber, and the rear side cover main body is a hybrid structure using FRP fiberglass. The FRP body is finished with paint in colors equivalent to the genuine stock colors.
Rubber molding is included to protect the tank from scratches.
