Double Bubble Intake (D.B.I)
Two staggered, protruding bubble shapes are positioned on both sides, with large-diameter air intakes evoking powerful suction. The openings, equipped with mesh nets, give a more aggressive impression and enhance the side profile.
The main body of the side cover evokes the Z1's "simple yet three-dimensional sculpted beauty," while simultaneously modifying the form to be glamorous and flowing, seamlessly integrating with the volume of the air intake. This transforms the silhouette from the tank to the tail cowl into a spartan image.
The front part, referred to as the intake section, is made of twill carbon fiber, and the rear main side cover body is made of FRP fiberglass, creating a hybrid structure. The FRP body is finished with paint in the same colors as the genuine parts.
Rubber molding is included to protect the tank from scratches.
