Double Bubble Intake (D.B.I)
Two staggered, bulging bubble shapes are arranged on both sides, and the large-diameter air intake evokes a powerful suction. The openings equipped with mesh nets give a more aggressive impression and emphasize the side view's presence.
The main body of the side cover evokes the "simple yet three-dimensional sculptural beauty" of the Z1, while simultaneously modifying it into a glamorous and flowing form that harmonizes with the volume of the air intake, transforming the silhouette from the tank to the tail cowl into a spartan image.
The front part, called the intake section, features a hybrid structure using twill weave carbon fiber, and the rear side cover main body uses FRP fiberglass. The FRP body is finished with paint in colors equivalent to genuine parts.
A rubber molding is included to protect the tank from scratches.
