The billet insulator band, luxuriously machined from solid aluminum, is designed to keep the rubber insulator as perfectly round as possible.
A physical stop at the tightening point reduces the risk of oval deformation of the insulator due to overtightening of the bolt, and the resulting secondary air intake.
We are particular about the design, from its presence as a mere tightening band to the fit of the joint, and it dramatically improves the design when combined with genuine VM carburetors as well as aftermarket racing carburetors.
You can choose from a raw finish that allows you to enjoy the unique luster of the material without surface treatment, a black anodized finish with excellent weather resistance, or a brass finish that emits a profound sense of luxury.
