This is the ultimate megaphone exhaust system, reborn with high precision and high performance using digital 3D bending and the latest technology, more than a quarter-century after it was inspired by the KZ1000S1, which was favored by Eddie Lawson and others in the early 1980s AMA Superbike Championship series, considered by many to be the roots of the megaphone exhaust, which is once again being re-evaluated in recent Moto-GP races.
Detailed description:
・Exhaust pipe: The 42.7mm pipe faithfully reproduces the mechanical lines unique to the S1 model using a 3D bender.
・Silencer: The straight-through megaphone uses a taper angle that is best matched to the Z series, based on extensive data.
・Collector: Generates abundant torque from low RPMs while achieving exhilarating power at high RPMs.
・Joint: Connection of each component uses stainless steel spring joints, reminiscent of racing machines, considering quick mounting and repairability.
Compatible models:
・KAWASAKI Z1/Z2, Z750-1000, Z1R, Z1000/1100J, R, GP
*When used with Z750-1000 from '73 to '80, modification of the tailpipe mounting stay may be required, and the collector section may interfere with the oil filter cover.
・In this case, we recommend replacing it with the separately sold filter cover (Part No. 72-262).
