■Detailed Description
●Exhaust Pipe
Attention to detail determines the overall impression.
The exhaust pipe features a graceful form from the engine exhaust port to the muffler inlet.
We repeatedly experimented with the angles and integration of the #1 and #2 exhaust pipes to maximize their unity with the vehicle body.
Its curves exhibit the aesthetic beauty of a high-quality wind instrument.
The material used is steel (STKM11A mechanical structural carbon steel pipe). Each component is meticulously polished by skilled craftsmen, then subjected to high-quality plating to provide superior aesthetics and weather resistance.
●Muffler
The φ67×300 size muffler achieves maximum silencing effect with minimum exhaust resistance by using a completely double-layered internal structure.
Each internal component is designed specifically for the HAWK2.
The exquisite internal dimension adjustments, derived from repeated real-world driving tests, greatly contribute to producing a unique, relaxed, and expansive exhaust note.
Equipped with a muffler excellent in quietness, you can enjoy driving with peace of mind even in urban areas where noise consideration is necessary.
The lightweight and compact body possesses high rigidity, is excellent in vibration resistance under harsh operating conditions, and also beautifully enhances the overall silhouette when installed on the vehicle.
●Muffler Outer Cover Lineup
The outer cover material lineup includes the following three types of materials:
・Aluminum alloy A6063S
・Stainless steel SUS304/Mirror finish
・Titanium TP270
●Component Configuration
This is a full exhaust system consisting of three parts: two front exhaust pipes (from the engine to the collector) and one tail ASSY (from the collector, including the muffler).
●Installation
It is fixed to the vehicle body at two points: the engine exhaust port and the tail stay.
When installing at the engine exhaust port, a HONDA genuine free flange (exhaust holder) is used.
*Exhaust gaskets and HONDA genuine free flanges (exhaust holders) are not included, so you will need to prepare them separately.
●Muffler Structure Requirements
The inner muffler of this product is fixed by welding.
*Sound volume adjustment and back pressure adjustment are not possible.
