Detailed Description
■Exhaust Pipe
The 4-into-2-into-1 manifold system employed offers higher exhaust synergy than a 4-into-1 system in a 4-cylinder engine, and is also one of the elements that produces a high-quality sound.
The material used is steel (STKM11A carbon steel pipes for machine structural purposes). Each part is carefully polished by hand by skilled craftsmen, and then subjected to at least two layers of plating, including decorative chrome, to provide high weather resistance.
■Silencer
Equipped with a large-capacity straight-through silencer measuring φ93×390.
It achieves high exhaust efficiency, enabling an exhilarating ride with extended power.
Two types of bolt-on, detachable back-pressure adjusting inner silencers are included at the exhaust outlet, allowing for easy changes to your preferred back pressure.
【Inner Silencer A】
A punching pipe wrapped with sound-absorbing glass wool is welded to the tailpiece. (Back pressure: High)
【Inner Silencer B】
Tailpiece only. (Back pressure: Low)
Excluding the inner silencers, the constituent material is aluminum alloy only, making it a lightweight silencer despite its large capacity.
The outer cover uses lightweight yet highly rigid aluminum material with blue anodization.
The silencer body is independent from the tailpipe (bolt-on to the tailpipe), making it excellent for after-maintenance, such as temporary removal for repair or replacement.
■Component Parts
This is a full exhaust muffler consisting of a total of six parts: 4 front exhaust pipes (from the engine to the manifold), 1 tail ASSY, and the silencer.
