Accessories: Exhaust gasket This is a high-spec muffler equipped with a multi-stage compression expansion structure silencer.
The inside of the silencer is divided into three expansion chambers. We conducted actual driving tests, chassis dynamometer tests, and monitoring while changing the capacity of these expansion chambers, the total length of the bypass pipe connecting the partitions, and the inner diameter of the pipe in millimeter increments. We then commercialized the product after pursuing the best back pressure settings.
As a result of research conducted without being constrained by development costs, we created over 1000 silencer concepts and more than 300 prototype silencers, which became the foundation for the development of the 80D-RAPTOR brand muffler.
We have achieved improved driving performance simply by replacing the standard muffler.
The torque characteristics are very easy to handle, with good response, and it delivers powerful acceleration feel no matter what RPM range the throttle is opened from.
