The silencer interior is divided into three expansion chambers. The capacity of these expansion chambers, the total length of the bypass pipes connecting the partitions, and the inner diameter of the pipes are adjusted millimeter by millimeter through actual driving tests, chassis dynamometer tests, and monitoring to achieve the optimal back pressure setting before commercialization.
As a result of research conducted without regard to development costs, over 1000 silencer concepts and more than 300 prototype silencers were produced, forming the basis for the development of the 80D-RAPTOR brand mufflers.
Simply replacing the standard muffler achieves improved driving performance.
The torque characteristics are very easy to handle, with good response, and powerful acceleration from any RPM range when opening the throttle.
