The inside of the silencer is divided into three expansion chambers, and we conducted actual driving tests, chassis dynamometer tests, and monitoring while changing the volume of these expansion chambers, the total length of the bypass pipes connecting the partitions, and the inner diameter of the pipes in millimeter increments, pursuing the best back pressure settings before commercialization.
As a result of research conducted without being constrained by development costs, we created over 1000 silencer concepts and over 300 prototype silencers, which form the basis for the development of 80D-RAPTOR brand mufflers.
We have achieved improved driving performance simply by replacing the standard muffler.
The torque characteristics are very easy to handle, responsive, and provide powerful acceleration feel no matter what RPM range you open the throttle from.
