The inside of the silencer is divided into three expansion chambers, and after conducting actual driving tests, chassis dynamometer tests, and monitoring while changing the capacity of these expansion chambers, the total length of the bypass pipes connecting the partition walls, and the internal diameter of the pipes in millimeter increments, the best back pressure setting is pursued before commercialization.
As a result of research conducted without being constrained by development costs, over 1000 types of silencer concepts and over 300 types of prototype silencers were produced, which form the basis for the development of 80D-RAPTOR brand mufflers.
Performance improvements are achieved simply by replacing the standard muffler.
The torque characteristics are very easy to handle, with good response, and powerful acceleration feel is exhibited no matter which RPM range the throttle is opened from.
