・The "Purely Domestic Glove Project" began with the aim of bringing ultimate craftsmanship to everyday gloves. Skilled artisans meticulously hand-stitch each glove, achieving excellent durability, high quality, and a sense of satisfaction for the owner. To allow users to enjoy the aging process as the gloves mold to their hands over time, we intentionally selected thick genuine leather, and paid close attention to the cutting to ensure that operability is not compromised. It is a masterpiece made in Japan, meticulously crafted in every detail.
・MATERIAL/Premium Oiled Cow Leather: By blending natural animal oils, including lanolin (sheep wool fat), with the chemically synthesized oils used in leather finishing, we have achieved the authentic feel of an older era, where the leather naturally conforms to the hand with use.
・CUTTING: The cutting of natural leather requires the skill of an artisan who thoroughly understands the material. With years of experience, they can discern the direction of the leather's stretch, identify and avoid minute flaws that differ from one hide to another, and precisely cut matching left and right pieces.
・STITCHING: Skilled artisans meticulously stitch each glove, combining curves and straight lines freely to create a three-dimensional form while maintaining rigidity, suppleness, and beauty.

・Maintenance: Gently wash the palm and interior with leather soap, rinse thoroughly, and then dehydrate. While still damp, put them on your hands and stretch them to shape. Air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. When semi-dry (still damp inside), massage the gloves once, reshape them, and then continue air drying.
* If the gloves have lost their oil, when semi-dry, spread a thin layer of commercially available leather conditioner on your palm and massage it into the gloves. Do not apply too much oil. Afterward, air dry thoroughly until completely dry.
