■Product Description
This is a pre-assembled crankcase kit that allows you to change the kickstart system of your Monkey or Gorilla engine from a secondary type to a primary type.
By installing various Takegawa auto-decompression cylinder heads (excluding Desmodromic Twin Cam 4V) and 88/106cc kits that you currently own onto this half combo kit, you can convert to a primary type system.
This kit is intended for those who currently have the applicable cylinder heads and displacement installed on their vehicle or have already purchased them.
Applicable displacement: 88/106cc
Included transmission: TAF 5-speed close ratio transmission
Gear ratio: S-touring 5-speed

The half combo kit is assembled by SP Takegawa mechanics with careful management of each part. Includes parts list.
The primary kickstarter system allows the engine to be started by disengaging the clutch regardless of the gear, making it ideal for racing use where quick engine starting is required for restarts and similar situations. Additionally, with a primary kick system, power is transmitted to the drive gear without going through the transmission, reducing the load on the transmission when starting the engine.

【Features of the Half Combo Kit】
・Newly designed SP Takegawa original reinforced crankcase
The SP Takegawa original reinforced crankcase is a high-quality crankcase with enhanced case rigidity and specific design details to withstand the stress on the crankcase caused by increased displacement.
The oil pump uses a crankshaft direct-drive oil pump. It offers approximately double the discharge volume compared to a chain-driven reinforced oil pump.
The breather pipe has an inner diameter of 6mm, compared to the normal 4mm, to reduce the internal pressure of the crankcase in large displacement engines.
The crankcase body is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly injects oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the back of the piston for lubrication and cooling.
Mission bearings, which receive large torque, are equipped with a dedicated bearing hold plate.

・Reinforced clutch
The reinforced clutch uses 5 discs to eliminate clutch slippage that occurs in high-power engines.
Only available as a wet special clutch, the cover is made of die-cast magnesium.
The clutch cover used in the wet clutch is a patented clutch cover that allows the installation of a thermostat.
By installing the separately sold thermostat unit, overcooling can be prevented. Furthermore, an oil outlet is provided for oil extraction to the oil cooler.

・Stroked crankshaft
To accommodate high-power engines, a special bearing with an enlarged inner diameter of the journal bearing on the stroked crankshaft is used.
The shaft diameter of the journal part, where stress concentrates on the crankshaft, is 22mm, which improves strength and durability. In addition, the crankshaft undergoes special surface treatment to further enhance durability.

・TAF 5-speed close ratio transmission (S-touring 5-speed)
The TAF 5-speed close ratio transmission combines high durability with excellent operability.

・SP Takegawa original aluminum die-cast generator cover
A separate drive sprocket cover is adopted, allowing sprocket replacement without removing the generator cover, by only removing the sprocket cover part.

・Kit 구성
The kit consists of parts specifically for the primary type.
A reinforced crankcase, close ratio transmission, wet special clutch, die-cast magnesium clutch cover, and crankshafts for each displacement are assembled. In addition, a 910mm clutch cable, 1000mm breather hose, and 2 clips are included.

※Applicable cylinder heads are R Stage +D, Super Head +R, Twin Spark Super Head +R, Super Head 4V +R, and DOHC 4V +D.
※Due to the large displacement engine, the kit is designed for cylinder heads that use an auto-decompression camshaft.
