■Product Description
This is a complete crankcase engine kit (pre-assembled) that allows you to change the Monkey/Gorilla engine from a secondary kick-starter system to a primary kick-starter system.
By installing various SP Takegawa cylinder heads with auto decompression (excluding Desmodromic Twin Cam 4V) or various SCUT 138cc kits that you currently own onto this Half Combo Kit, you can convert to a primary kick-start system.
This kit is for those who currently have the applicable cylinder heads and displacement installed on their vehicle, or who have already purchased them.

The Half Combo Kit is assembled by SP Takegawa mechanics under proper management of each part. Includes parts list.
The primary kick-starter system allows the engine to be started by disengaging the clutch, regardless of which gear it is in, making it ideal for racing use where quick engine starting is required for re-starts. Additionally, with a primary kick, the power is transmitted directly to the drive gear without going through the transmission, reducing the load on the transmission during engine startup.
【Features of the Half Combo Kit】
・New design SP Takegawa original reinforced crankcase
The SP Takegawa original reinforced crankcase is a high-quality crankcase specifically designed with increased case rigidity to handle the stress on the crankcase that occurs with larger displacements.
The oil pump employs a crankshaft direct-drive oil pump. It offers approximately twice the discharge volume compared to chain-driven reinforced oil pumps.
The breather pipe has an inner diameter of 6mm, compared to the normal 4mm, to reduce the internal pressure of the crankcase in large displacement engines.
The crankcase body is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly sprays oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the back of the piston for lubrication and cooling.
Dedicated bearing hold plates are installed for the mission bearings, which receive large torque.
・Reinforced clutch
The reinforced clutch uses 5 discs to eliminate clutch slip in high-power engines.
Only available as a wet special clutch, with a magnesium die-cast cover.
The clutch cover used in the wet clutch is a patented clutch cover that allows for thermostat installation.
By installing the separately sold thermostat unit, overcooling can be prevented. Furthermore, an oil outlet is provided, allowing for oil extraction to an oil cooler.
・Stroke-up crankshaft
To accommodate high-power engines, the stroke-up crankshaft uses special bearings with an enlarged inner diameter of the journal bearing.
The shaft diameter of the journal section, where stress concentrates on the crankshaft, is 22mm, improving strength and durability. Additionally, special surface treatment on the crankshaft further enhances durability.
・TAF 5-speed cross mission (S Touring 5-speed)
The TAF 5-speed cross mission combines high durability with excellent operability.

・SP Takegawa original aluminum die-cast generator cover
A separate type drive sprocket cover is adopted, allowing sprocket replacement by removing only the sprocket cover part without removing the generator cover.
・Kit Contents
The kit consists of parts specifically for the primary type.
It includes a reinforced crankcase, cross mission, wet special clutch, magnesium die-cast clutch cover, and crankshafts for various displacements, all pre-assembled. Also included are a 910mm clutch cable, a 1000mm breather hose, and 2 clips.

*Ignition parts such as the outer rotor are not included. You will need to use your currently installed parts or purchase them separately.
*While crankshafts for various displacements are assembled in the Half Combo Kit, piston kits and upper gasket sets are not included.
*Applicable cylinder heads are R Stage +D, Super Head +R, Twin Spark Super Head +R, Super Head 4V +R, and DOHC 4V +D.
*For large displacement engines, cylinder heads employing an auto-decompression camshaft are targeted.
