■Product Description
The R-Stage series is the only horizontal 50cc (FI) engine that allows head tuning.
By adopting the traditional R-Stage head technology of SP Takegawa, it has achieved high output performance that cannot be obtained with a normal head.
In addition, the high-performance injection controller can maximize the performance of the R-Stage cylinder head.
The Hyper R-Stage includes an R-Stage bore-up kit 88cc with FI CON PLUS (injection controller), a big throttle body kit, and a spark plug.
Bore diameter: 52mm. Compression ratio: 12.0:1.

■Detailed Description
●R-Stage Head
This is an SP Takegawa original cylinder head developed with an optimized valve included angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape, in conjunction with the adoption of large-diameter valves.
●Port
While the port diameter of the normal head is 20mm for both IN and EX, the port diameter of the R-Stage head is increased to IN: 24mm / EX: 20mm.
In addition, the adoption of a three-dimensional port shape, combined with the larger diameter of the valves and ports, allows for a smoother flow of more intake and exhaust gases.
●Valve
While normal valves are IN: 20mm/EX: 16mm, R-Stage head valves are larger at IN: 26mm/EX: 22.5mm.
The increase in weight due to the larger diameter of the valves is minimized by waist processing. (Valve stem shaft diameter: 4.5mm)
●Valve Spring
Uneven pitch (two-stage pitch) single valve springs are used to prevent surging at high RPMs.
●Cylinder
Uses an all-aluminum ceramic plated cylinder.
This cylinder has excellent durability, airtightness, and heat dissipation.
In addition, the cylinder is equipped with an oil outlet boss, allowing for easy installation of SP Takegawa oil cooler kits.
●Piston
The piston skirt is coated with molybdenum to improve initial break-in with the cylinder.
●FI CON PLUS (Injection Controller) Compatible with Big Throttle Body
FI CON PLUS has an internal three-dimensional fuel map, which performs high-speed calculations based on signals from various sensors, allowing for optimal fuel injection according to engine conditions.
In addition, it not only has a fuel injection circuit but also an ignition system circuit, and the ignition timing is optimized for R-Stage.
These features make it possible to use it at high RPMs exceeding the rev limit of the normal ECU.
*Please strictly observe the specified operating RPMs.
Despite its high performance, FI CON PLUS allows for easy adjustment of fuel correction from the basic map (-10% to +20% in 16 steps) and rev limiter settings (7000rpm to 16000rpm in 16 steps) by simply turning the rotary switch on the FI CON PLUS unit with a screwdriver.
No troublesome PC connection is required.
