■Product Description
The R-Stage series is the only head tuning option available for 50cc (FI) horizontal engines.
By adopting the technology of SP Takegawa's traditional R-Stage head, it has achieved high output performance that cannot be obtained with a normal head.
In addition, the high-performance injection controller can maximize the performance of the R-Stage cylinder head.
The Hyper R-Stage includes an R-Stage Bore Up Kit 88cc, FI CON PLUS (injection controller), a high-efficiency air filter, and a spark plug.
Bore diameter 52mm. Compression ratio 12.0:1.

■Detailed Description
●R-Stage Head
Based on the standard head shape, large diameter valves are adopted: Intake: 26mm / Exhaust: 22.5mm.
(Normal valves are Intake: 20mm / Exhaust: 16mm)
This is an original SP Takegawa cylinder head developed by optimizing the valve angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape in conjunction with the adoption of large diameter valves.
With significantly improved intake and exhaust efficiency, and combined with increased displacement and a high-performance injection controller, it delivers high output that cannot be compared to a normal head.
●Ports
While the port diameter of a normal head is 20mm for both intake and exhaust, the port diameter of the R-Stage head is enlarged to intake: 24mm / exhaust: 20mm. In addition, by adopting a 3-dimensional port shape and combining it with the larger diameter valves and ports, it is possible to smoothly flow more intake and exhaust gases.
●Valves
Intake: 26mm / Exhaust: 22.5mm
Valve stem shaft diameter: 4.5mm
The increased weight due to the larger diameter valves is kept to a minimum by waist processing.
●Valve Springs
Asymmetrical pitch (two-stage pitch) single valve springs with optimal spring rate for the R-Stage head are adopted, making surging less likely at high RPMs.
Durable steel valve spring retainers are used.
●Cylinder
The cylinder adopts an all-aluminum ceramic-plated cylinder. It is a cylinder with excellent durability, airtightness, and heat dissipation.
The cylinder is equipped with an oil outlet for the oil cooler.
●Piston
The piston skirt section is molybdenum-coated to ensure good initial break-in with the cylinder.
●FI CON PLUS (large capacity injector included)
FI CON PLUS has a 3-dimensional fuel map internally, performs high-speed calculations based on signals from various sensors, and can perform optimal fuel injection according to engine conditions.
In addition to the fuel injection circuit, it also incorporates an ignition system circuit, and the ignition timing is optimized for the R-Stage.
This makes it possible to use it up to high RPMs that exceed the rev limit of the normal ECU.
Despite its high performance, FI CON PLUS allows easy adjustment of fuel correction from the basic map (-10% to +20% in 16 steps) and rev limiter settings (7000rpm to 16000rpm in 16 steps) simply by turning the rotary switch on the FI CON PLUS unit with a screwdriver. No troublesome PC connection is required.
●Kit Composition
The R-Stage Bore Up Kit 88cc includes FI CON PLUS (injection controller), a high-efficiency air filter, a 16T drive sprocket to change the reduction ratio, and a spark plug.
