■Detailed Description
●Features of Superhead 4V+R (1 Cam 4 Valve)
Compared to the large-diameter 2-valve SP Takegawa Superhead+R, by using two intake valves and two exhaust valves, the valve curtain area can be further expanded, enabling higher intake and exhaust efficiency than with a large-diameter 2-valve.
In addition, due to the head design that balances the central plug, valve angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape that accompany the 4-valve conversion, high output is possible, and the sustained output characteristics in the high RPM range, which is the biggest feature of the Superhead, have been achieved.
By adopting a 1-cam 4-valve, it was possible to make it as lightweight and compact as possible, while condensing the performance as the strongest SOHC head.
●New Shape Superhead 4 Valve+R Body
The rounded cylinder head shape perfectly matches the Monkey style, enhancing the custom image of the vehicle.
In addition, the die-cast head covers with barrel polishing beautifully accentuate the cylinder head.
●Valve Features
Valve diameter Intake: 21.5mm x 2 / Exhaust: 18.5mm x 2
Valve stem shaft diameter: 4.0mm for both intake and exhaust.
●Valve Spring
Prevents surging at high RPMs by adopting unequal pitch.
●Features of IN/EX Port
The port diameter is optimized to match SP Takegawa's 3D shaped manifold.
In addition, by simultaneously installing the 3D shaped manifold, a smooth intake effect from the carburetor to the combustion chamber without resistance is possible, maximizing the performance of the cylinder head.
●M8 Spark Plug
An M8 spark plug is adopted due to the optimal valve angle achieved by the 4-valve conversion and the compact head.
●Adoption of Roller Rocker Arm
By adopting roller rocker arms, the output performance of the Superhead+R is maximized, increasing output in the mid-to-high speed range and maintaining output in the high RPM range, which is a feature of roller rocker arms.
The roller rocker arm reduces the friction resistance with the camshaft that occurs with slipper-type rocker arms (genuine part type).
With the roller bearing built into the rocker arm, it smoothly follows the cam profile from low to high RPMs.
●Hollow Camshaft (Auto Decompression Mechanism)
The camshaft is supported by ball bearings at both ends, reducing friction resistance in the camshaft journal area.
In addition to the included camshaft, optional camshafts are available, so you can change them according to your intended use and enjoy the riding performance.

●Auto Decompression Mechanism
It reduces the kick start force and the load on the transmission when starting the engine, allowing for smooth engine starting even with large displacements.
●Cylinder/Piston
H-cylinder Bore diameter 52mm
Adopts aluminum iron-sleeved cylinder.
The cylinder comes standard with a temperature sensor mounting part.
You can measure the cylinder temperature by purchasing an SP Takegawa thermometer built-in meter or a thermometer.
For 88cc H-cylinder: M5 temperature sensor
