■Product Description
This kit uses the Superhead 4V+R cylinder head.
It's a great value set that includes the Superhead 4V+R kit, a MIKUNI VM26 carburetor, a high-flow filter, a high-throttle set, a spark plug, a super oil pump kit, and a cam chain.
The Scut series (patented structure) eliminates the need to disassemble the crankcase, allowing for a significant increase in displacement while using the normal crankshaft.
Bore diameter 57mm. Stroke 41.4mm (using normal crankshaft). Compression ratio 12.4:1.
Included camshaft: 10/15D

■Detailed Description
●Features of Superhead 4V+R (1 Cam 4 Valves)
Compared to the large-diameter 2-valve Superhead+R from SP Takegawa, by having two intake valves and two exhaust valves, the valve curtain area can be further expanded, making it possible to achieve higher intake and exhaust efficiency than large-diameter 2-valves.
Furthermore, due to the head design, which balances center plug placement, valve included angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape for the 4-valve conversion, it achieves high output and the sustained output characteristics at high RPMs that are a major feature of the Superhead.
By adopting a 1-cam 4-valve design, it was possible to make it as light and compact as possible, while condensing the performance as the strongest SOHC head.
●New Shape Superhead 4 Valve +R Body
The rounded cylinder head shape suits the Monkey style well and can enhance the custom image of the vehicle.
In addition, the barrel-polished die-cast head covers beautifully enhance the cylinder head.
●Valve Features
Valve diameter: Intake: 21.5mm x 2 / Exhaust: 18.5mm x 2
Valve stem shaft diameter: 4.0mm for both intake and exhaust
●Valve Spring
Uses unequal pitch to prevent surging at high RPMs.
●IN/EX Port Features
The port diameter is optimized to match the SP Takegawa 3D manifold.
Furthermore, by installing it simultaneously with the 3D manifold, it enables smooth and unimpeded intake from the carburetor to the combustion chamber, maximizing the performance of the cylinder head.
●Adoption of Roller Rocker Arm
By adopting a roller rocker arm, the output performance of the Superhead+R is maximized, achieving increased output in the mid-to-high speed range and sustained output at high RPMs, which is a characteristic of roller rocker arms.
Roller rocker arms reduce frictional resistance with the camshaft that occurs with slipper-type rocker arms (OEM part type).
With roller bearings built into the rocker arm, it smoothly follows the cam profile from low to high RPMs.
●M8 Spark Plug
An M8 spark plug is adopted due to the optimal valve included angle and compact head size resulting from the 4-valve conversion.
●Hollow Camshaft (Auto Decompression Mechanism)
The camshaft is supported by ball bearings at both ends, reducing frictional resistance in the camshaft journal area.
Optional camshafts are available in addition to the included camshaft, allowing you to replace them according to your usage and enjoy riding performance.

●Auto Decompression Mechanism
Reduces the force of kick starting and the load on the transmission when starting the engine, allowing for smooth engine starting even with a large displacement.
●Ceramic Plated Cylinder / Piston
Scut cylinder (patented structure) Bore diameter 57mm
Adopts an all-aluminum ceramic plated cylinder with excellent durability, airtightness, and heat dissipation.
The cylinder comes standard with a temperature sensor mounting section.
You can measure the cylinder temperature by purchasing an SP Takegawa thermometer-equipped meter or a thermometer.
The Scut cylinder is equipped with an oil jet mechanism.
Oil is continuously sprayed onto the inner wall of the cylinder, the piston skirt, and the inner wall of the piston while the engine is running, allowing for efficient lubrication and cooling.

Uses a cast piston, and the piston skirt is molybdenum coated to ensure good initial break-in.
