■Detailed Description
SP Takegawa's tensioner arm is precisely machined from high-strength extra super duralumin material, increasing its thickness to enhance the strength of the arm body and expand the contact area with the push rod.
This reduces the caving in or damage to the rubber tip of the push rod, significantly extending the push rod's lifespan.
The arm body is equipped with an oil hole to lubricate the moving parts.
The arm surface is hard anodized.
The stock tensioner arm is formed from a sheet metal, resulting in a small contact area with the push rod, causing the rubber tip of the push rod to cave in to the shape of the sheet thickness.
Furthermore, prolonged use with high-power engines can severely deform the stock tensioner arm, potentially damaging the push rod head.
In such cases, proper tension is not applied to the cam chain, which can lead to engine problems.
