A high-strength cam chain tensioner that can maintain proper tension and follow the cam chain.

■Detailed Description
The normal tensioner arm is formed from sheet metal, so the contact area with the push rod is small, causing the rubber at the tip of the push rod to indent in the shape of the sheet thickness.
Additionally, long-term use with high-power engines can severely deform the normal tensioner arm and damage the push rod head.
In this case, the cam chain may not receive proper tension, which can lead to engine problems.
SP Takegawa's tensioner arm is precisely machined from high-strength extra super duralumin material, increasing its thickness to enhance the arm's strength and further increase the contact area with the push rod.
This not only strengthens the tensioner arm but also reduces indentations and damage to the rubber at the tip of the push rod, significantly extending the life of the push rod.
A dedicated collar is used in the center of the arm to control the swing of the tensioner arm, allowing the force of the push rod to be accurately transmitted to the cam chain.
Additionally, an oil hole is provided in the arm body to lubricate moving parts.
Compared to the stock tensioner roller, SP Takegawa's tensioner roller has a larger diameter, which maintains proper tension on the cam chain and reduces roller wear.
Furthermore, by adopting a sprocket shape not found in the stock part, the cam chain's followability is enhanced.
While the stock tensioner roller cannot be removed, this product features a removable roller structure, allowing for roller replacement and superior maintainability.
