■Product Description
This kit includes a die-cast special clutch cover and a special clutch (slipper clutch type) for the normal main shaft.
Thanks to SP Takegawa's patented structure, there is no need to remove the engine or disassemble the crankcase, allowing you to convert to a slipper clutch while using the normal main shaft.

■Detailed Description
●Aluminum Die-cast Clutch Cover (Buffed Finish, Clear Coated)
Patented structure: Thermostat mounting part and oil line structure
The clutch cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The surface treatment is a buffed clear coat finish.
Oil can be taken out for an oil cooler.
An optional thermostat unit using a shape memory alloy spring can be installed to prevent overcooling.
The thermostat unit is sold separately.
A highly reliable cartridge-type paper oil element is adopted.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
An integrated clutch cable receiver is adopted.
By installing the cable collar for the normal clutch lever holder included in the kit, there is no need to purchase an optional clutch lever, and the special clutch can be used with the normal lever. (Excluding Z50J-1300017～1805927)
●Slipper Clutch (for Normal Main Shaft)
For the normal main shaft, by using a patented adapter, it is possible to convert to a secondary side clutch while using the normal main shaft.
The slipper clutch slips when there is sudden engine braking (back torque), controlling the effectiveness of the engine braking.
This reduces sudden changes in posture due to engine braking, rear wheel hopping, and stress on the engine.
Of course, during normal driving, it operates in the same way as conventional special clutches, so the clutch will not slip even with high-power engines.
●Slipper Clutch Structure
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch section that connects power between the crankshaft and the transmission.
This transmits back torque from the rear wheel to the clutch cam, causing the pressure plate cam and clutch cam to operate, pushing down the pressure plate to create a semi-clutch state, releasing back torque.
●Slipper Clutch Specifications
Similar to the standard clutch, a secondary side clutch attached to the transmission's main shaft is adopted, reducing the load on the crankshaft.
In addition, the crankshaft axis can be lightened, providing a lighter throttle response.
A damper is incorporated into the primary driven gear to reduce shock during clutch engagement.
With 5 friction discs, it is compatible with high-power engines for both street and racing.
A machined aluminum lifter plate is adopted.

*The slipper clutch cannot completely release back torque. Some of it will be transmitted to the crankshaft, so avoid sudden downshifts at high RPMs to prevent damage to the valve train.
*If installing on vehicles Z50J-1300017～1600007, the included clutch cable cannot be attached to the normal clutch holder (the type welded to the handlebar pipe). Therefore, replace the handlebar pipe and use an SP Takegawa clutch lever or a combination switch with a clutch lever.
