■Product Description
This is a set of a special clutch standard kit (slipper type) and a die-cast clutch cover.
This full kit is designed for vehicles (normal) where the transmission and clutch have not been modified.
Thanks to SP Takegawa's patented structure, there is no need to remove the engine or disassemble the crankcase, allowing you to convert to a slipper clutch while keeping the normal mainshaft.
The clutch cover is available in three types: buffed clear coat, brown paint, and black paint.

■Detailed Description
●Slipper Clutch (for Normal Mainshaft)
The normal mainshaft type uses a patented adapter structure, allowing conversion to a secondary clutch while keeping the normal mainshaft.
When sudden engine braking (back torque) occurs, the slipper clutch slips and controls the effectiveness of the engine braking.
This reduces sudden changes in posture due to engine braking, rear wheel hopping, and stress on the engine.
Of course, during normal driving, it operates the same as conventional special clutches, so the clutch will not slip even with high-power engines.
●Structure of the Slipper Clutch
A special pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch section that connects the power between the crankshaft and the transmission.
This allows the back torque transmitted from the rear wheel to be transmitted to the clutch cam, which then activates the cam on the pressure plate and the clutch cam, pushing down the pressure plate to create a half-clutch state and release the back torque.
●Specifications of the Slipper Clutch
Similar to the standard clutch, a secondary clutch attached to the mainshaft of the transmission is used, reducing the burden on the crankshaft.
It also allows for a lighter crankshaft axis, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
Dampers are built into the primary driven gear to reduce shock during clutch engagement.
With 5 friction discs, it supports high-power engines for both street and racing.
Uses an aluminum machined lifter plate.
●Aluminum Die-cast Clutch Cover (Black Paint)
Patented structure: Thermostat mounting part and oil line structure
The clutch cover is made of aluminum die-cast.
The surface treatment is black painted finish.
Oil can be taken out to an oil cooler.
An optional thermostat unit using shape memory alloy springs can be installed. This prevents overcooling.
The thermostat unit is sold separately.
The oil element uses a highly reliable cartridge type paper filter.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
An integrated clutch cable receiver is adopted.
By installing the included cable collar for the normal clutch lever holder, you can use the special clutch with the normal lever without the need to purchase an optional clutch lever. (Excluding Z50J-1300017 to 1805927)

*The slipper clutch cannot completely release back torque. Some of it is transmitted to the crankshaft, so sudden downshifts at high RPM should be avoided to prevent damage to the valve train.
*When installing on vehicles with Z50J-1300017 to 1600007, the included clutch cable cannot be attached to the normal clutch holder (the type welded to the handlebar pipe). Therefore, replace the handlebar pipe and use an SP Takegawa clutch lever or a combination switch with a clutch lever.
