■Product Description
This manual clutch cover changes the normal automatic centrifugal foot clutch to a manual wire-operated clutch.
Includes primary drive gear.
■Detailed Description
●Die-cast Clutch Cover
It is possible to change the normal automatic centrifugal clutch to a manual clutch. (Excluding KSR PRO)
The cover body is made of die-cast aluminum, buffed, and clear-coated for a beautiful finish.
The completely different cover shape and surface treatment from the normal clutch cover give the engine an impact and enhance the vehicle's appearance.
The clutch cover features the SP Takegawa logo.
●Wire Type
The manual wire-operated clutch mechanism adopts a rack and pinion system, allowing for stable clutch operation.
The wire type kit includes a quick-release type clutch lever that can be swapped with the rearview mirror holder.
●Patented Clutch Cover Structure (Thermostat mounting part and oil line structure)
This manual clutch cover incorporates a patented structure, unique to SP Takegawa, that allows for the installation of a thermostat.
By installing an SP Takegawa thermostat (sold separately) with the original oil line structure, overcooling is prevented.
●How the Thermostat Works
When the oil temperature rises (above 70 degrees Celsius), the shape memory alloy spring in the thermostat extends, blocking the bypass passage in the clutch cover and changing the oil flow to pass through the oil cooler.
Below 70 degrees Celsius, the spring contracts, and only a small amount of oil flows to the oil cooler, with the rest flowing through the bypass passage.
●Clutch Cover Patent Pending Structure
This manual clutch cover also features a clutch cover structure with a patent pending, which can be used for both manual wire type and hydraulic type.
Therefore, after purchasing a manual wire type clutch cover, you can change it to a hydraulic type without replacing the cover by purchasing a hydraulic clutch conversion kit.
●Standard Oil Take-out Port
The clutch cover body is equipped with an oil take-out port as standard, allowing oil to be drawn out to the oil cooler.
By purchasing an SP Takegawa oil cooler kit, you can fit it inside the shroud without spoiling the vehicle's image.
Even if the oil take-out port is not used, a blind plug is installed, so it can be used as a manual clutch cover as is.
●Equipped with Engine Oil Inspection Window
Equipped with an inspection window to check the engine oil level, just like a normal engine.
The window uses highly durable glass.
●Original Filler Cap
Adopts an original filler cap with the same screw diameter and mounting pitch (1.5mm) as the stock one.
It is made of die-cast aluminum and plated.
●Primary Drive Gear Included
Improves throttle response and allows 100% of crankshaft rotation to be transmitted to the secondary clutch.
●Compatible Clutches
Normal clutch vehicles / SP Takegawa 6-disc reinforced clutch
Cannot be used simultaneously with the normal primary clutch.

※When installing on KSR110 (KL110CBF/KL110DDF), the included clutch lever may interfere with the stock combination switch, but this does not hinder clutch operation.
※When installing on KSR PRO (KL110EEF), simultaneous installation of a quick shifter is required. The KSR PRO can use the stock clutch lever as is.
