■Product Description
Achieves increased clutch capacity with 6-disc design while reducing rotational mass.
For vehicles equipped with SP Takegawa WET-compatible cross mission.
Please note that SP Takegawa cross mission kits vary by vehicle.
This kit features a slipper clutch specification.

■Detailed Description
●Die-cast aluminum R. Crankcase Cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be used with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a special (wet) clutch, you can change to a dry clutch specification.
*A separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts is required for specification changes.
●Machined aluminum clutch cover (hydraulic)
The clutch cover is precisely machined from aluminum and features a silver anodized finish on its surface.
In addition, the HYDRAULIC logo is engraved in the center of the clutch cover.
A release piston with a diameter of φ33 is adopted.
●Large Oil Filler Cap
The larger oil filler opening makes oil changes easier.
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
Removing impurities from the oil helps maintain engine output.
A reliable, cartridge-type paper oil element is used.
●Oil Level Check Window
Allows easy checking of the oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Special Clutch Inner Kit TYPE-R (WET/Slipper Specification)
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing the clutch unit from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the transmission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, by reducing the diameter of rotating parts such as the clutch outer, it reduces horsepower loss due to oil diffusion, further improves responsiveness, and achieves approximately 12% reduction in rotational mass, transmitting engine power efficiently.
Six friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it suitable for high-output engines.
●Slipper Clutch (Standard Equipment)
Mitigates severe engine braking shock during downshifts at high RPMs.
This reduces sudden changes in posture, rear wheel hopping, and stress on the engine.
●Slipper Clutch Structure
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch unit.
Back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transferred to the clutch cam, causing the pressure plate cam and clutch cam to operate, pushing down the pressure plate to create a semi-clutched state and releasing back torque.
●Clutch Outer
Incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock to gears, etc., when the clutch is engaged.
●Die-cast aluminum lifter plate
●Clutch Spring
Excellent fatigue resistance for stable clutch feel.

*The slipper clutch cannot completely eliminate back torque. Some torque is transmitted to the crankshaft, so sudden downshifts at high RPMs can lead to engine damage and should be avoided.
*Due to its structure, the slipper clutch will slip when the engine is started. Therefore, always use a camshaft with an auto decompression function.
*While there is no camshaft with an auto decompression function for Desmodromic 4V Big Bore Kits or Monkey (FI) engine parts, a slipper clutch can still be used.
*Normal mufflers and up mufflers cannot be installed simultaneously.
*When installing the included clutch master cylinder, the normal clutch lever & holder must be removed, so a separate purchase of an SP Takegawa combination switch is required.
*When installing on Z50J-1300017 ~1600007 vehicles, the included clutch master cylinder cannot be installed simultaneously with the stock handlebar pipe, so the handlebar pipe needs to be replaced.
