17 Dry Clutch Kit Type R Hydraulic with Master Cylinder Monkey/Gorilla

Details:
・Dry clutch kit TYPE-R for high-spec engines. By reducing the rotational mass and incorporating 6 discs, clutch capacity has been increased.
・Product specifications: Hydraulic dry clutch, TYPE-R 6-disc (standard specifications / *slipper clutch mechanism not included), hydraulic dry clutch kit, master cylinder included.
・Common right crankcase cover adopted: The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum. The cover surface is buffed and then clear coated. The right crankcase cover shape is designed to be used with either wet or dry clutches. Even after purchasing a dry clutch, you can change the specifications to a special clutch (wet type). (*A separate purchase of specific Takegawa parts is required for specification changes.)
・Billet aluminum clutch cover (hydraulic type): Increased ventilation holes further enhance the cooling effect around the clutch outer. By removing the clutch cover, it is easy to replace the clutch springs, clutch plates, and clutch friction discs. The surface of the billet aluminum cover is silver anodized.
・Built-in oil element: Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil. By removing impurities from the oil, engine output can be maintained. The oil element uses a reliable cartridge-type paper filter.
・Oil level check window included: Allows checking of the oil level. Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
・Large oil filler cap adopted: Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish. The larger oil filler opening makes oil changes easier.
・Clutch unit change: By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the transmission main shaft (secondary side), the rotational mass of the crankshaft is reduced, improving crankshaft durability and throttle response.
・6-disc specification: Compared to conventional products, by reducing the diameter of rotating parts such as the clutch outer, it achieves a reduction in horsepower loss due to oil diffusion, further improved response, and an approximately 12% reduction in rotational mass, transmitting engine power without waste. It uses five Kevlar-blended friction discs and one special friction disc designed to reduce judder, achieving a 6-disc configuration. This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it suitable for high-power engines.
・Standard clutch specification (without slipper) ・Primary driven gear: Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock to gears during clutch engagement.
・Lifter plate: The standard specification uses a billet aluminum lifter plate.
・Clutch springs: Excellent fatigue resistance for a stable clutch feel.
