■Product Description
To install this product, simultaneous installation of SP Takegawa's Special Clutch-specific TAF 5-speed Cross Mission Kit (02-04-0295) is required.
It cannot be installed with a normal mission or a cross mission other than those specified by SP Takegawa.

■Detailed Description
●Aluminum Forged Clutch Cover (Wire Type)
The wire-type clutch adopts the highly-regarded rack and pinion system for light and smooth operation.
The cover is made of forged aluminum and has a shot-blasted surface.
The dry clutch cover has large ventilation holes to enhance cooling efficiency.
●Die-cast Aluminum R. Crankcase Cover
It adopts a common R. crankcase cover shape for both wet and dry types, allowing for changes between wet and dry specifications after purchase.
The clutch part has a separate chamber structure, allowing the engine oil and clutch oil to be separated. (Brand, specifications, etc.)
The R. crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is black painted.
●Oil-through Nut
Installation enables significant weight reduction.
From approx. 1069g for the centrifugal oil filter to approx. 123g for the oil-through nut.
By replacing it with the included oil-through nut, the normal centrifugal oil filter, which puts a load on the crankshaft, can be removed.
This reduces the weight on the crankshaft from approx. 1069g to approx. 123g, enabling significant weight reduction.
In addition, by reducing the load on the crankshaft, engine response is improved.
The installation of the oil-through nut creates an oil line connected to the crankshaft.
As it passes through the oil element, clean oil always flows to the crankshaft.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
By removing impurities from the oil, engine output can be maintained.
The oil element uses a highly reliable, cartridge-type paper filter.
●Oil Level Check Window
Easily check the oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Large Filler Cap
Made of die-cast aluminum with chrome plating.
Enlarging the oil filler opening makes oil changes easier.
●Oil Outlet
Oil can be directly drawn from the cover body to the oil cooler.
SP Takegawa offers oil cooler kits for special clutch covers.
●Patented Structure
Thermostat mounting section and oil line structure.
When an oil cooler kit (specifications that draw oil from the special clutch cover) is installed, an optional thermostat unit can be installed to prevent overcooling.
●New Mechanism
Adopts a new mechanism that allows the oil line flowing to the cylinder head side to be routed via the oil element.
By installing the separately sold oil line hose kit, the oil flowing to the head side can also pass through the oil element.
This prevents engine damage caused by oil sludge, etc.
To install the oil line hose, it is necessary to use the oil cooler outlet boss found on SP Takegawa's big bore cylinder (with oil outlet boss).
●Special Clutch Inner Kit TYPE-R (6-disc specification)
By making rotating parts such as the clutch outer smaller in diameter, it reduces power loss due to oil dispersion, further improves response, and reduces rotational mass, thereby transmitting engine power without waste.
With 6 discs, the clutch capacity is increased to handle high-power engines.
Also, by making the clutch unit common to both wet and dry types, both specifications can be changed.
When changing from a wet clutch to a dry clutch, friction disc replacement is required, but when changing from a dry clutch to a wet clutch, you can use it as is.
*Only if no consumables need to be replaced. Clutch covers, etc., are additionally required.
●Clutch Structure is Slipper Clutch Specification
The slipper clutch alleviates the shock of sudden engine braking caused by downshifting at high RPMs.
This can reduce sudden changes in posture, rear tire hopping, and engine load.
●Primary Driven Gear with Built-in Damper
Incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock to gears, etc., when engaging the clutch.
●Clutch Spring
Excellent fatigue resistance, achieving a stable clutch feel.
