・The 17 Dry Clutch Kit Type-R (Hydraulic) and TAF 5-Speed Cross Transmission Kit are now available as a set!
・17 Dry Clutch Kit Type-R (Hydraulic): The right crankcase cover is equipped with a large oil filler cap, an oil inspection window, and a highly efficient paper-type oil element. Furthermore, by sharing components with the Special Clutch Type-R, it can be converted to a wet clutch. (Separate purchase of wet clutch components is required.) The clutch cover is made from machined aluminum and features ventilation holes to enhance cooling. To improve clutch operation, the release piston diameter has been enlarged from the conventional φ29.5 to φ33, making the clutch lever lighter to operate. It is possible to attach a sound-insulating rubber cap to mitigate the unique noise of a dry clutch. Additionally, an oil cooler unit or an in-line thermo unit (sold separately) can be attached to the right crankcase cover, allowing for oil temperature management after installing an oil cooler. The clutch unit is available with or without a slipper. The slipper clutch reduces the shock of sudden engine braking. It is a 6-disc specification using five Kevlar-blended friction discs and one dedicated friction disc to reduce judder. The primary driven gear incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock during clutch engagement. The clutch is mounted on the secondary side, reducing the load on the crankshaft and providing a lighter response.
・TAF 5-Speed Cross Transmission Kit: This kit retains the excellent features of the existing Takegawa 5-speed cross transmission while further improving durability and operability. By adopting a shift fork with special surface treatment and ensuring sufficient tooth width for the shorter stroke, durability has been enhanced. Additionally, the gear (dog part) utilizes the same tapered engagement surface as conventional products, improving shift feel and increasing protection against malfunctions such as gear slippage. Gear ratios are available in Super Street 5-speed and S Touring 5-speed.
