・17 Dry Clutch Kit TYPE-R (Hydraulic Type): The right crankcase cover features a large oil filler cap, an oil inspection window, and a paper-type oil element with excellent filtration capabilities. Furthermore, by sharing components with the Special Clutch TYPE-R, it is possible to convert to a wet clutch. (Separate purchase of wet clutch parts is required.) The clutch cover is made from machined aluminum and features ventilation holes to enhance cooling. To improve clutch operation, the release piston diameter has been enlarged from the conventional φ29.5 to φ33, making clutch lever operation lighter. It is possible to install soundproof rubber caps to reduce the noise characteristic of dry clutches. In addition, an optional oil cooler unit and in-line thermo unit can be installed on the right crankcase cover, allowing for oil temperature management after installing an oil cooler. The clutch unit can be selected with or without a slipper clutch. The slipper clutch reduces the shock of sudden engine braking. It is a 6-disc specification that uses five Kevlar-blended friction discs and one dedicated friction disc to reduce judder. The primary driven gear incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock during clutch engagement. The clutch is installed on the secondary side, which reduces the load on the crankshaft and allows for a lighter response.
・TAF 5-Speed Close Ratio Transmission Kit: While maintaining the excellent features of the existing Takegawa 5-speed close ratio transmission, its durability and operability have been further improved. By adopting a shift fork with a special surface treatment and ensuring sufficient tooth width in conjunction with a shortened stroke, durability has been improved. In addition, the gear (dog part) uses a tapered shape for the meshing part, similar to conventional products, to improve shifting feel and enhance the prevention of malfunctions such as gear slippage. Gear ratios can be selected from Super Street 5-speed and S Touring 5-speed.
