■Detailed Description
●Aluminum Die-Cast Clutch Cover (Buffed and Clear Coated)
Patented Structure: Thermostat mounting section and oil line structure
The clutch cover is made of aluminum die-cast.
The surface finish is buffed and clear coated.
Oil can be routed to an oil cooler.
An optional thermostat unit using shape memory alloy springs can be installed. This prevents overcooling.
The thermostat unit is sold separately.
A highly reliable cartridge-type paper oil element is used.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil inspection window.
An integrated clutch cable receiver is adopted.
●Standard Clutch (for SP Takegawa 4/5/6-speed cross transmissions)
With a normal clutch, the clutch body is mounted on the normal crankshaft, but the SP Takegawa Special Clutch uses a secondary clutch that is mounted on the main shaft of the transmission.
This reduces the load on the crankshaft. It also allows for a lighter crankshaft, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
Dampers are incorporated into the primary driven gear to reduce shock during clutch engagement.
The number of friction discs is increased to 5, making it compatible with high-power engines for both street and race use.
A highly durable and strong aluminum die-cast lifter plate is used.
●Super Sports Cross Transmission (Street 5-speed) included
The Super Sports 5-speed cross transmission allows for effective use of the power band without stress.
Even if the engine output is increased, a normal transmission cannot utilize the power band effectively, preventing the engine's potential from being fully realized.
By installing this SS 5-speed cross transmission, the power band can be used without stress for street driving, cornering, and racing, maximizing the potential of a custom engine.

※When installing on Z50J-1300017 to 1600007 vehicles, the included clutch cable cannot be attached to the normal clutch holder (the type welded to the handlebar pipe), so replace the handlebar pipe and use an SP Takegawa clutch lever or a combination switch with a clutch lever.
