■Detailed Description
●Aluminum Die-Cast Clutch Cover (Buffed and Clear Coated)
Patented structure: Thermostat mounting section and oil line structure
The clutch cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The surface finish is buffed and clear coated.
Oil can be taken out for an oil cooler.
An optional thermostat unit using a shape memory alloy spring can be installed to prevent overcooling.
The thermostat unit is sold separately.
The oil element uses a highly reliable, cartridge-type paper filter.
The engine oil check window uses durable glass.
An integrated clutch cable receiver is adopted for the cover.
●Standard Clutch (for SP Takegawa 4/5/6-speed cross transmissions)
With a normal clutch, the clutch body is mounted on the normal crankshaft, but the SP Takegawa special clutch adopts a secondary clutch that is mounted on the mission side main shaft.
This reduces the burden on the crankshaft. It also allows for a lighter crankshaft, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
The primary driven gear incorporates a damper to reduce shock when engaging the clutch.
With 5 friction discs, it is compatible with high-power engines for both street and race use.
A durable and strong aluminum die-cast lifter plate is adopted.
●Super Sport Cross Transmission (S-Touring 5-speed) included
The Super Sport 5-speed cross transmission allows you to effectively use the power band without stress.
Even if the engine output is increased, a normal transmission cannot fully utilize the power band, preventing the engine's potential from being unleashed.
By installing this SS 5-speed cross transmission, you can use the power band without stress during street driving, cornering, and racing, maximizing the potential of a custom engine.
