■Detailed Description
●Special Clutch Kit (TYPE-R)
The TYPE-R specification reduces rotating mass weight while increasing clutch capacity with a 6-disc configuration.
●Die-cast Aluminum Right Crankcase Cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be used with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a Special Clutch (wet type), it can be changed to a dry clutch specification.
※A separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts is required for specification change.
●Forged Aluminum Clutch Cover (Wire type)
The wire-type clutch uses a rack & pinion system, known for its light and smooth operation.
The cover is made of forged aluminum with a shot blast finish.
Even after installing the special clutch, clutch springs, clutch plates, and clutch friction discs can be easily replaced by removing the clutch cover.
●Large Oil Filler Cap
Oil changes are easy due to the large oil filling port.
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
Removing impurities from the oil helps maintain engine output.
The oil element is a reliable cartridge-type paper filter.
●Oil Level Check Window
Oil level can be easily checked.
The engine oil check window uses durable glass.
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission main shaft (secondary side), the burden on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in light throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, the rotating parts such as the clutch outer are reduced in diameter, which reduces horsepower loss due to oil dispersion, further improves response, and reduces rotating mass weight by approximately 12%, efficiently transmitting engine power.
Six Kevlar-blended friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it suitable for high-output engines.
●Slipper Clutch (Standard Equipment)
Reduces the shock of sudden engine braking caused by downshifting at high RPMs.
This reduces sudden changes in posture, rear tire hopping, and stress on the engine.
●Slipper Clutch Structure
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch section.
Back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transferred to the clutch cam, causing the pressure plate's cam and the clutch cam to actuate. This pushes down the pressure plate, creating a semi-clutch state and releasing the back torque.
●Clutch Outer
Includes a built-in rubber damper to reduce shock from gears etc. during clutch engagement.

Excellent fatigue resistance for a stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-Speed Cross Mission Kit
This cross mission further improves the durability and operability while retaining the advantages of existing SP Takegawa 5-speed cross missions.
By adopting a shift fork with a special surface treatment and securing tooth width in line with the short stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gears adopt the same tapered shape at the meshing part as the SS 5-speed, improving shifting feel and enhancing the effect of preventing malfunctions such as gear slippage.

※The slipper clutch cannot completely release back torque. A part of it is transmitted to the crankshaft, so do not perform sudden downshifts at high RPMs, as this may lead to engine damage.
※When installing on Monkey/Gorilla (Z50J-1300017~1600007) vehicles. The included clutch cable is not compatible with the normal clutch holder, so replace the handle pipe and use an SP Takegawa clutch lever or a combination switch with a clutch lever.
※For 6V Monkey/Gorilla (Z50J-1300017~1805927) vehicles, which are A-type spindle vehicles, it is necessary to change to a B-type spindle.
