■Detailed Description
●Special Clutch Kit (TYPE-R)
The TYPE-R specification reduces rotating mass while increasing clutch capacity through a 6-disc design.
●Die-cast aluminum right crankcase cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be compatible with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a Special Clutch (wet type), you can change to a dry clutch specification.
*Separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts is required for specification changes.
●Forged aluminum clutch cover (wire type)
The wire-type clutch uses a rack & pinion system, known for its light and smooth operation.
The cover is made of forged aluminum with a shot-blasted finish.
Even after installing the special clutch, the clutch springs, clutch plates, and clutch friction discs can be easily replaced by removing the clutch cover.
●Large oil filler cap
A larger oil filler port makes oil changes easier.
Made of die-cast aluminum with chrome plating.
●Built-in oil element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
Removing impurities from the oil helps maintain engine output.
The oil element uses a reliable cartridge-type paper filter.
●Oil level check window
Easily check the oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission's main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in sharper throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, by making rotating parts such as the clutch outer smaller, loss horsepower due to oil diffusion is reduced, responsiveness is further improved, and rotating mass weight is reduced by approximately 12%, efficiently transmitting engine power.
Six Kevlar-blended friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc design.
This increases clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it compatible with high-output engines.
●Slipper Clutch (Standard Equipment)
Reduces the sudden engine braking shock during high-revolution downshifts.
This helps prevent sudden changes in vehicle posture, rear tire hopping, and reduces the load on the engine.
●Slipper Clutch Structure
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are installed in the clutch section.
The back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transferred to the clutch cam, causing the pressure plate cam and clutch cam to engage. This pushes down the pressure plate, creating a half-clutch state and releasing the back torque.
●Clutch Outer
Incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock to gears, etc., during clutch engagement.

Excellent fatigue resistance for stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-Speed Close-Ratio Transmission Kit
This is a close-ratio transmission that further improves durability and operability while maintaining the good qualities of SP Takegawa's existing 5-speed close-ratio transmission.
By adopting shift forks with special surface treatment and ensuring tooth width to accommodate shorter strokes, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gears feature the same tapered engagement shape as the SS5 speed, improving shift feel and enhancing prevention of misoperations such as gear disengagement.

*The slipper clutch cannot completely release back torque. Some back torque will be transmitted to the crankshaft, so do not perform sudden downshifts at high RPM as this may damage the engine.
*When installing on Monkey/Gorilla (Z50J-1300017~1600007) vehicles: The included clutch cable is not compatible with the standard clutch holder, so please replace the handlebar pipe and use an SP Takegawa clutch lever or a combination switch with a clutch lever.
*6V Monkey/Gorilla (Z50J-1300017~1805927) are Type A spindle vehicles, so a change to a Type B spindle is required.
