■Detailed Description
●Special Clutch Kit (TYPE-R)
The TYPE-R specification reduces rotating mass while increasing clutch capacity by using 6 discs.
●Die-cast Aluminum Right Crankcase Cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is painted silver.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be compatible with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a Special Clutch (wet type), you can change to a dry clutch.
*Separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts is required for specification changes.
●Forged Aluminum Clutch Cover (Wire Type)
The wire-type clutch uses a rack-and-pinion system, known for its light and smooth operation.
The cover is made of forged aluminum and has a shot-blasted finish.
Even after installing the Special Clutch, clutch springs, clutch plates, and clutch friction discs can be easily replaced by removing the clutch cover.
●Large Oil Filler Cap
The larger oil filler port makes oil changes easy.
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
Removing impurities from the oil helps maintain engine output.
The oil element is a reliable cartridge-type paper filter.
●Oil Level Check Window
Allows easy checking of the oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●6-Disc Reinforced Clutch (Slipper Clutch Specification)
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission's main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in sharper throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, the outer diameter of rotating parts such as the clutch outer has been reduced, which minimizes horsepower loss due to oil diffusion, further improves response, and reduces rotating mass by approximately 12%, ensuring efficient transmission of engine power.
It features 6 friction discs, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it compatible with high-output engines.
●Slipper Clutch (Standard Equipment)
Mitigates the shock of sudden engine braking caused by downshifting at high RPMs.
This reduces sudden changes in posture, rear wheel hopping, and stress on the engine.
●Slipper Clutch Structure
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are installed in the clutch section.
Back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transferred to the clutch cam, causing the pressure plate's cam and the clutch cam to actuate. This pushes down the pressure plate, creating a semi-clutch state and releasing the back torque.

Incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock during clutch engagement and gear changes.

●TAF 5-Speed Close-Ratio Transmission Kit
This close-ratio transmission retains the excellent features of existing SP Takegawa 5-speed close-ratio transmissions while further improving durability and operability.
By using a shift fork with a special surface treatment and ensuring sufficient tooth width for the short stroke design, durability has been improved.
Additionally, the gears feature a tapered shape at the engagement points, similar to the SS5-speed, which improves shifting feel and enhances prevention of malfunctions such as gear disengagement.
