■Detailed Description
●Special Clutch Kit (TYPE-R)
The TYPE-R specification reduces rotating mass weight while increasing clutch capacity through a 6-disc configuration.
●Die-cast Aluminum Right Crankcase Cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover is designed for use with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a special (wet) clutch, you can change it to a dry clutch.
*A separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts is required for specification changes.
●Forged Aluminum Clutch Cover (Wire Type)
The wire-type clutch uses a rack & pinion system, known for its light and smooth operation.
The cover is made of forged aluminum and has a shot-blasted finish.
Even after installing the special clutch, the clutch springs, clutch plates, and clutch friction discs can be easily replaced by removing the clutch cover.
●Large Oil Filler Cap
The enlarged oil filler port makes oil changes easy.
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
Removing impurities from the oil helps maintain engine output.
The oil element uses a reliable cartridge-type paper filter.
●With Oil Level Confirmation Window
Easy to check the oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●6-Disc Reinforced Clutch (Slipper Clutch Specification)
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the transmission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced and the crankshaft axis is lightened, resulting in light throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, by reducing the diameter of rotating parts such as the clutch outer, a reduction in horsepower loss due to oil diffusion, further improvement in response, and approximately 12% reduction in rotating mass weight are achieved, transmitting engine power efficiently.
Six friction discs are used to achieve a 6-disc configuration.
This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it suitable for high-output engines.
●Slipper Clutch (Standard Equipment)
Reduces the shock of sudden engine braking during downshifts at high RPMs.
This helps reduce sudden changes in posture, rear wheel hopping, and stress on the engine.
●Slipper Clutch Structure
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch section.
Back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is conveyed to the clutch cam, causing the pressure plate cam and clutch cam to operate. This pushes down the pressure plate, creating a semi-clutch state and releasing the back torque.
●Clutch Outer
Incorporates a rubber damper to reduce shock to gears, etc., when the clutch is engaged.

Excellent fatigue resistance, providing a stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-Speed Cross Mission Kit
This cross mission retains the excellent features of existing SP Takegawa 5-speed cross missions while further improving durability and operability.
By adopting shift forks with special surface treatment and ensuring tooth width to accommodate shorter strokes, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gears feature a tapered shape at the engaging part, similar to the SS5-speed, improving shift feel and enhancing the prevention of malfunctions such as gear disengagement.
