●Special Clutch Kit (TYPE-R)
The TYPE-R specification reduces rotational mass while increasing clutch capacity through a 6-disc design.
●Die-cast Aluminum Right Crankcase Cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is coated with silver paint.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be used with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing the Special Clutch (wet type), you can change it to a dry clutch specification.
*A separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts is required for the specification change.
●Forged Aluminum Clutch Cover (Wire Type)
The wire-type clutch uses a rack & pinion system, known for its light and smooth operation.
The cover is made of forged aluminum and has a shot blast finish on the surface.
Even after installing the Special Clutch, you can easily replace the clutch springs, clutch plates, and clutch friction discs by removing the clutch cover.
●Large Oil Filler Cap
Changing the oil is easy due to the larger oil filler opening.
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
Removing impurities from the oil helps maintain engine output.
The oil element is a reliable, cartridge-type paper filter.
●With Oil Level Sight Glass
Allows for easy checking of the oil level.
The engine oil sight glass uses durable glass.
●6-Disc Reinforced Clutch (without Slipper Clutch)
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the transmission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in sharper throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, by reducing the diameter of rotating parts such as the clutch outer, loss of horsepower due to oil diffusion is reduced, responsiveness is further improved, and rotational mass is reduced by approximately 12%, ensuring efficient transmission of engine power.
Achieves a 6-disc design by adopting six friction discs.
This increases clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it suitable for high-output engines.

This close-ratio transmission maintains the excellent features of existing SP Takegawa 5-speed close-ratio transmissions while further improving durability and operability.
By using a shift fork with special surface treatment and ensuring the tooth width to match the shorter stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gears feature the same tapered shape at the engaging part as the SS 5-speed, improving shifting feel and enhancing protection against accidental disengagement.
