●Common right crankcase cover adopted
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be used for both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a dry clutch, you can change the specifications to a special clutch (wet type).
*Specification changes require separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts.
●Aluminum machined clutch cover (wire type)
The cover is made of machined aluminum with a clear anodized finish.
It uses a rack & pinion system for light and smooth operation.
Ventilation holes are arranged to enhance cooling effect.
For those who are concerned about the unique noise of a dry clutch, optional rubber caps can be used to reduce the noise.
●Built-in oil element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
By removing impurities from the oil, engine output can be maintained.
The oil element uses a highly reliable cartridge-type paper type.
●With oil level check window
Allows you to check the oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Large oil filler cap adopted
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
The large oil filler opening makes oil changes easy.
●Clutch unit change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission's main shaft (secondary side), the burden on the crankshaft is reduced, and the weight of the crankshaft axis can be reduced, resulting in light throttle response.
●6-disc specification
Compared to conventional products, it has been downsized, reducing rotational mass by approximately 12%. Six friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it suitable for high-power engines.
●Slipper clutch mechanism
The slipper clutch reduces the sudden engine braking shock caused by downshifting at high RPMs. This reduces sudden changes in posture, rear wheel hopping, and engine load.
A special pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch section. The back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transmitted to the clutch cam, and the cam of the pressure plate and the clutch cam operate, pushing down the pressure plate to create a semi-clutch state, allowing the back torque to escape.
●Primary driven gear
Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock to gears etc. when engaging the clutch.
●Lifter plate
The standard specification uses an aluminum machined lifter plate.
●Clutch spring
Excellent fatigue resistance, achieving a stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-speed Cross Mission Kit (Super Street 5-speed)
This is a cross mission that can effectively use the power band.
●TAF 5-speed Cross Mission Kit (return type)
While retaining the advantages of the existing SP Takegawa 5-speed cross mission, durability and operability have been further improved.
By adopting a shift fork with special surface treatment and securing the tooth width to match the shorter stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gear (dog part) uses the same tapered shape of the meshing part as conventional products, which improves shift feeling and enhances the prevention of malfunctions such as gear slippage.
R. crankcase cover gasket and crankcase gasket required for assembly are included.
