■Detailed Description
●Common Right Crankcase Cover Adopted
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is painted silver.
The right crankcase cover is designed for use with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a dry clutch, it can be changed to a special (wet) clutch specification.
*Specification changes require separate purchase of parts specified by SP Takegawa.
●Aluminum Billet Clutch Cover (Hydraulic)
The cover is made of aluminum billet with a clear anodized finish.
A new shape is adopted for the bleeder valve and hose fitting mounting sections, and multiple ventilation holes are arranged to enhance cooling effect.
Furthermore, to improve clutch operation, the release piston diameter has been enlarged from the conventional φ29.5 to φ33, making the clutch lever operation lighter.
Optional parts: Soundproofing rubber cap can be installed to reduce the unique noise of dry clutches.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
By removing impurities from the oil, engine output can be maintained.
A reliable cartridge-type paper oil element is adopted.
●With Oil Level Confirmation Window
Allows confirmation of oil level.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil confirmation window.
●Large Oil Filler Cap Adopted
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
Enlarging the oil filler port makes oil changes easier.
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission's main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the weight of the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in lighter throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Downsized compared to conventional products, reducing rotational mass by approximately 12%. Six friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it compatible with high-power engines.
●Standard Clutch Specification (Without Slipper Clutch)
●Primary Driven Gear
Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock from gears, etc., during clutch engagement.
●Lifter Plate
The standard specification adopts an aluminum billet lifter plate.
●Clutch Spring
Excellent fatigue resistance, achieving a stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-Speed Cross Mission Kit (Super Street 5-Speed)
This cross mission allows effective use of the power band.
●TAF 5-Speed Cross Mission Kit (Return Type)
While retaining the excellent features of existing SP Takegawa 5-speed cross missions, durability and operability have been further improved.
By adopting shift forks with special surface treatment and securing tooth width in line with shortening the stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gears (dog part) adopt the same tapered shape of the engaging part as conventional products, improving shift feel and enhancing the prevention of malfunctions such as gear slippage.
R. crankcase cover gasket and crankcase gasket necessary for assembly are included.
