■Detailed Description
●Common right crankcase cover adopted
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover shape allows it to be used with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a dry clutch, you can change the specification to a special (wet) clutch.
*Specification changes require separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts.
●CNC machined aluminum clutch cover (hydraulic)
The cover is made of CNC machined aluminum with a clear anodized finish.
A new shape is adopted for the bleeder valve part and hose fitting mounting part, and multiple ventilation holes are arranged to enhance the cooling effect.
Furthermore, to improve clutch operation, the release piston diameter has been enlarged from the conventional φ29.5 to φ33, making clutch lever operation lighter.
Optional parts: Soundproof rubber cap that reduces noise peculiar to dry clutches can be installed.
●Built-in oil element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
By removing impurities in the oil, engine output can be maintained.
The oil element uses a reliable cartridge type paper type.
●With oil level check window
Oil level can be checked.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Large oil filler cap adopted
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
Oil changes can be easily performed by enlarging the oil filler opening.
●Clutch unit change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the transmission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
●6-disc specification
Downsized compared to conventional products, reducing rotating mass by approximately 12%. Six friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products and supports high-power engines.
●Standard clutch specification (without slipper clutch)
●Primary driven gear
Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock from gears when the clutch is engaged.
●Lifter plate
The standard specification uses a CNC machined aluminum lifter plate.
●Clutch spring
Excellent fatigue resistance and stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-speed cross mission kit (S Touring 5-speed)
This cross mission allows effective use of the power band.
●TAF 5-speed cross mission kit (return type)
While retaining the advantages of existing SP Takegawa 5-speed cross missions, durability and operability have been further improved.
By adopting a shift fork with special surface treatment and securing the tooth width in accordance with the shorter stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gear (dog part) uses the same tapered shape for the meshing part as conventional products, improving shift feel and enhancing the effect of preventing malfunctions such as gear slippage.
R. crankcase cover gasket and crankcase gasket required for assembly are included.
